As we delve into the volatile world of cryptocurrencies in 2025, investors are seeking new strategies to capitalize on market fluctuations. One such strategy gaining traction is investing in presale tokens, which offer a unique opportunity to acquire promising coins before their official exchange listing. Here’s a closer look at the trend and some tokens worth considering.

Best Presales to Buy Today – Which Coins Could Rally the Hardest?

As cryptocurrency prices fluctuate throughout 2025, investors are increasingly turning to presale markets to acquire promising tokens before their exchange debut. Presale tokens, with fixed floor prices, offer resilience to market volatility, providing both retail and institutional investors early entry without immediate price swings. Highly successful presales often raise millions in funding, creating strong liquidity and price momentum post-launch, with returns of 10x or even 100x being common. One such presale project expected to experience significant growth this year is Solaxy ($SOLX), which aims to elevate Solana with Layer 2 solutions.

FTX & Alameda Send Millions of Dollars in SOL to Binance

A wallet linked to the collapsed crypto exchange FTX and its trading arm, Alameda Research, unstaked $431.3 million worth of Solana (SOL) earlier this week. A portion of those funds, $3.4 million to be exact, have been transferred to Binance. This typically suggests an intention to sell the assets. Although only a small portion of SOL holdings has been moved so far, FTX/Alameda’s court-mandated obligation to repay billions to creditors indicates that more tokens could be transferred and sold in the future.

Solana Co-Founder Advocates for No Crypto Reserves

Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder and CEO of Solana (SOL), has expressed his preference for no crypto reserves, particularly questioning the concept of a US government-controlled strategic reserve. Yakovenko outlined his order of preference, stating that his first choice would be no reserve at all, as he believes that government control would lead to the failure of decentralization. As a secondary option, he suggested that individual states could manage their own reserves. Lastly, if a reserve had to exist, it should be based on objectively measurable criteria.

Hong Kong Crypto Scam: Fake National Token Promoted by Chief Executive Impersonator

An account impersonating Hong Kong’s Chief Executive, John Lee Ka-chiu, launched a fake national cryptocurrency called ’National Hong Kong Coin’ (HKONG) on Solana’s token launchpad Pump.fun. The account, with the username ’JohnLeeKa_Chiu’, promoted the token to its thousands of followers, aiming to capitalize on the recent Political memecoin frenzy. The Hong Kong government has denied the existence of a national cryptocurrency. The launch of the token was postponed several times before the scam was uncovered.
